Shelby Acres Okie-Dokie Kiko Goats |
Shelby Acres will be concentrating on 100% NZ progeny breeding stock in the future. We currently have seven spring 2009 100% NZ youngsters for sale, four doelings and three bucklings, all mostly black; pictured below. Of the 2008 bucks, we currently have only one 100% NZ still left, and he is available with or without papers. This guy, one of triplets, had an ADG at weaning of a half pound per day; pictured below. If the goat(s) will go to another state, a health certificate from our veterinarian for the state of destination will be provided; this health certificate cannot be obtained on the spur of the moment, so please give enough advance notice to allow for this. Our policy is to require a deposit of 1/3 the selling price to hold goats until they can be picked up (as in kids not yet weaned). The deposit will be refunded in full in case of an unexpected injury or death to the chosen goat and if Shelby Acres is unable to provide a substitute that is acceptable to both parties. Unforeseen circumstances requiring the buyer to cancel a purchase may also result in refunding the deposit (we are reasonable people) except perhaps for the cost of a health certificate if that was already arranged. |
